It was a fun 4 days .. we actually get to see how live telecasts are made .. this is the TV table that we always see live on ESPN or StarSports. And i got table-side seats .. how nice! Here's the broadcast arena :
Even got to meet some famous Asian players. This guy here, Alex Pagulayan, was the world champion in 2005. I still remember watching that final match 3 yrs ago when he won, now i'm standing beside him.. lol.
This was at the welcome party at QE2 bistro .. a pic with some random pretty model .. haha.
And another random pic .. this time in G Hotel. I'm getting stabbed by their boobs on both sides! Nevermind .. a better question would be .. don't they ever feel cold wearing that the whole day in a airconditioned hotel ballroom? hmmm ...
Right after the final match .. a Taiwanese won, as usual. The arena was full though.
Overall, it was a the most fun assignment i've had so far. Lots of free hotel food .. and free flow of Guiness stout. Drink as much as i want, even while i'm working.. lol. Best yet, had some goodies and souvenirs.. and even won an ESPN sports bag with autographed t-shirt in a lucky draw.
And i got paid $250 bucks to enjoy all that.. can't wait for next year's edition.
